This 1920’s era craftsman style home had beautiful original details throughout, but the kitchen had been remodeled during the 1970’s. The finishes were dated, the layout wasn’t optimal and the style wasn’t consistent with the aesthetic of the craftsman home.

The end result was an open concept, modern kitchen, which still respected the 1920’s aesthetic of the home. The open kitchen-dining space has a large central island with ample space for entertaining and seating. Colors and materials were chosen which were sensitive to the existing 1920’s character while still providing modern appliances and amenities.
